Andrea Navedo is an American actress and published author. She began her career on the soap operas One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she was in a number of roles supporting the primetime television. Navedo began her career as an actress in soap operas for daytime TV. She starred in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. She was cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap opera on CBS from 1999 to 2000, as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996, she played a very small part in Girl 6 and then went on to appear in New York Undercover. Navedo was a part of Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo was a regular actor in the NBC drama series Law & Order between 2001 and 2004, playing Detective Ana Cordova. later he starred in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages as well as Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in movies like El Cantante, Remember Me and many others. Navedo had recurring roles for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy and How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 and 2013.
